Jo Duffy. Like countless other young women before her, Jo Duffy dreamed of working in the glamorous and lucrative field of comics. She became the envy of EVERY LIVING FAN when she landed a job at Marvel Comics right out of college as a proofreader. Effectively, BEING PAID TO READ COMICS.

From there she soon found herself on that merry-go-round of the freelance writer. Writing such titles during her career as "POWER MAN AND IRON FIST", "DAREDEVIL", "STAR WARS" and "CATWOMAN". The versatile Miss Duffy  worked on staff as well at Marvel, editing such titles as "DAREDEVIL", "DR. STRANGE" and "THE INCREDIBLE HULK", eventually becoming  managing editor of Marvel's Epic line. And, throwing caution to the wind, trod the path of the self-publisher with her creator owned title  "NESTROBBER".

Being a freelance writer involves having many irons in the fire, apparently. Or spinning several plates at one time. Pick your metaphor. We asked Miss Duffy if she could take a break from her busy schedule to talk to us about writing.

     Lucky us.

     She made time.
