Roger Stern has been making the world a better place -- one word at a time -- since 1972.
He has written everything from commercials for Indianapolis Raceway Park ("Where the Great Ones Run!") to Superman's obituary and wedding ceremony (oddly enough, in that order).
Roger first started writing comics professionally in 1975, with the script for a "PHANTOM" comic book which never saw print. Since then, he has written many more stories, most of which have seen print.
Roger is probably best known for his stories in "THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN", "THE AVENGERS", "CAPTAIN AMERICA", "DOCTOR STRANGE", and "THE INCREDIBLE HULK" for Marvel Comics, and for his ten years as senior writer for DC Comics' "SUPERMAN" titles. In 1993, he wrote a New York Times bestseller "THE DEATH"; LIFE OF SUPERMAN". His most recent work was "SMALLVILLE: STRANGE VISITORS" for Warner Books.
