The things they do, the earth they spoil, When they lose their filthy oil. Crude black oil comes down oozing. All marine life we are losing. Oil tankers built on cheap construction, Causing life so much destruction. Penguins, seals and dolphins too. Oil clinging on and stuck like glue. A pathetic sight trying to fly. Covered in oil the birds will try, Soaked in grease, gaping for breath. A pitiful sight until their death. To help the ocean in its plight. Volunteers work day and night. When oil spews death upon our beach. With our kids how do we teach? The circle of life in the ocean lives. Spilling forth oil nature never forgives. She’ll fight back with such a force. The death of this earth she will endorse. Apathy towards disaster. The ocean dies so much faster. We must fight this every day, So come on Oz. lets lead the way Oil gurus, they don’t really care. For one that does, it’s very rare. Money to their pockets go. While oil goes on a killing flow. Just a fine this won’t refrain. From spilling oil they won’t abstain. Letting loose this lethal slime. Send them to prison for their crime. |
