HOME Volunteers  are an integral part of the Dental Section.
This is a unique opportunity to experience dentistry in the community. It is also a great experience for those who are considering dentistry as a career. Most of the "training" is hands-on, meaning that you will learn by both doing and observing. As a volunteer, your duties will be wide ranging from learning how to assist various procedures, sterilizing equipment, and doing various office tasks.
We are currently accepting applications at this time.

Applications are due May 4, 2009
In order to apply to the dental section, you will need to do the following:
  1. Go to an All Clinic Orientation. You can find the latest schedule for the All Clinic Orientation (ACO) located on the BFC web site.

  2. Fill out the BFC Dental Section Application. (If you are having troubles downloading the file, please email us at bfcdental@yahoo.com to request for an application)

  3. Contact a Dental Clinic Coordinator to come into the clinic to Observe. You will have the opportunity to see what the clinic is like before volunteering to make sure the clinic is appropriate for you
After applying to the Dental Section, we will evaluate all applications and invite candidates to participate in our interview process. You will need Adobe Acrobat 6.0 or later to fill out the application. Be sure to have documentation for your Hepatitis B vaccination and a negative Tuberculosis test within the last 6 months at the time of your interview. Please contact us via email if you would like to observe, want to be added to our mailing list for future application cycles, or have questions about the clinic.
