Magic Moments
There have been many great moments as a Bury fan. There also have been one or two which could be described as turd, but let's not dwell on those. This section is a celebration of the good times.

In 1995, Bury FC played at
Wembley for the first time in the third division playoffs. That came a few days after we disposed of Preston North End in the Semi Finals. The following year under the stewardship of the Super Sir Stan Ternent, we were promoted automatically from division three. Remind yourself of that fine day in May 1996 when Scunthorpe United did their bit for the Shakers' cause.

Rather than merely consolidating in division two, the Shakers went and won the division two
championship, read about the penultimate game at Vicarage Road in which we dramatically won promotion.

The first division was a treat. We started okay, nosedived and then a remarkable climb up the table to safety began at
Maine Road on St Valentine's Day 1998 on a day never to be forgotten by any Bury fan present.

We'll finish with the Shakers under Andy Preece's management and a couple of memories from the end of
a turbulent season in division two.
