Graduated by the "skin of my teeth" in '78. Joined USMC thereafter. Graduated from Southern Illinois Univ. in '84. Entered USMC OCS in '84. Remained an Infantry Officer till '92. Left military as a Captain. Worked for various companies till I went out on y own in '98. Married to Birgit Viehmann and we have 2 kids (boys 8 and 4). Love to hear from fellow grads. I just attended the 1978 20 year reunion! It was a hoot seeing all of us looking like our parents! It was really great seeing old friends and getting to know what has changed in their lives. I'm working on a M.A. in Counseling Ministry at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I was an engineer at a Navy lab & living in Rockville until a few months ago. This web site is a good idea -- I was referred here by another alumnus.
