Navy Repaints

The LC-130F was the mainstay of navy operations in Antartctica until the USAF New Yrok Air National Guard took over in 1999. The model is available from http://www.pmstone.com Unfortunately only an H model is available. The textures are available from flightsim Also Available is the Connie Pegasus

Pegasus was one of the Admirals ships. She came down in Antarctica and was dismantled onsite. Her sister ship Pheonix was sent to the boneyard with over 15,000 flying hours in Antarctica.

The DC-4 was also the Admiral's ship. One was actually Admiral Byrds plane. The textures for this plane stand as as close as possible however I have been informed that they are pretty correct for guesswork but any photo's that are available of planes that are overgrown with weeds. VXE6 used two series of choctaws, Kingpin & Gentle series. Gentle 1 was the first and last CH-34 at Antarctica. Kingpin II broke records with endurance missions. She had her tail pylon replaced within the first year in the harshness of Antarctica.

The huey was used extensively in operations. Helicopters can be downloaded from hovercontrol & flightsim.

Outrider 4 & 5 were utility helos that served at the PMRF Hawaii facility. OR5 was olive-drab and is also available. Both helos were vietnam vets by the time they got to the PMRF.
