| Cheryl was sixteen and new at Centereach High School in Centereach, NY. A Senior introduced her to heroin in a public school. Cheryl went inpatient at a drug rehab but didn't complete the program. Cheryl overdosed on October 5th, 1997. She was 18 years old. Now she can't walk, talk, move her arms, legs or hands. Cheryl is blind, on a feeding tube and lives in a nursing home. I miss my daughter very much. She may not have died but she isn't living. When some one offers you drugs please, please learn to say no or this could be you. |
