Purpose:  As a group, your task is to become proprietors of a new store.  You will pick your store’s products and
                then use PowerPoint to create an advertisement for your grand opening.  Follow the guidelines below.

Guidelines:  The advertisement should include the following:
        1. Store name
        2. Store slogan (i.e. “Have you driven a Ford lately?”)
        3. Store hours
        4. Example of at least 3 products along with prices
        5. Announcement of your current “grand opening” sale/specials
        6. Picture of at least one of your listed products (may be obtained from the Internet)

Grading:  Each student will receive the following grades for this project:
        1. Two Participation grades for today’s work in class
        2. Three Homework grades the for advertisement

Expectations:  Every student will do the following:
        1. WILL contribute to his/her group; be sure to focus on the task at hand!
        2. WILL NOT “wander the room” and leave his/her group
        3. WILL NOT engage in conversation with members of other groups
        *failure to follow these guidelines will result in point deduction(s) from the student’s participation
          grades and possibly the student’s homework grades for the advertisement.
