Chief Executive
The Chief Executive is one of the United States Presidents most important jobs. This is a brief overview of that responsibility.

Chief Executive IS the Presidents most important job. The Chief Executive is an important part of passing laws. Alot of things must be taken into consideration before the law can actually be passed. The Chief Executive deals with the details of a law. The Executive Branch, under the Chief Executive, determines the specifics of each law. For example, if they wanted to pass a law that said all nutritional values must be printed on food products, they would answer questions like how large does the label have to be, where should it be located, and everything it should say.

Excutive Order is a rule or command the president issures that had the force of law.  They are issud in times of crisis when the United States doesn't have time to wait on congress.  For Example during WWII President Franklin Roosevelt issued executive orders that put certain important industries under the control of the government.  The Constitution says that congress has the power to make laws, but issuing is executive orders is considered part of the Presidents duty.

The Constitution gives the President the power to apoint and elect officals.  For example the Chief Executive can elect ambassadors, judges, head of govt. agencies, and members of the cabinet.  The Chief executive job allows him to remove officals from office except the judge, but the senate must approve almost all the Presidents apointments.
