between the President and Congress they would disagree on many laws and
the decision wouldn't be in favor or the President.All fomer presidents
have used many different kinds of techniques to pursuade Congress to pass

Inviting congressman to the White
house to discuss the bill.
He might call the congressmen.
He also might promise to not veto
a law that that particular congressman stands for.
Introducing
a bill to Legeslation
President wants to pass a bill.
President has a member of
the House of Represenatives or the Senate introduce the bill into
Congress.
President may speak individually
to try to pursuade approval.
A variety of tactics to persuade
approval for example: making a speech on television or radio could influence
the public who may then pressure Congress to vote a certain way.
Influencing Legeslation

legeslation.

budget and ideas, and urgent issues.
