death penalty. Their muders per population: 41.6 murders per every
100,000 people. However, in the states that do not impose the death
penalty have a murder rate of 21.6 murders per every 100,000 people. In
the U.S. in the states with the death penalty the murder
rate is 8 murders per every 100,000 people. In states without
the death penalty the murder rate is only 4.4 per every 100,00 people.
