| I know it's mushy & probably cliche but I don't really care... it's how I feel- Even the notion of this trip would not have been possible without the loving support & encouragement of my dearest family, friends and mentors (you all know who you are). I'm not sure how far I'll get and for how long, but I do know that the love and support I've gotten when I've talked/discussed/complained/planned incessantly about planning this trip is immeasurable. I know a web page will never do justice to how I feel about my loved ones, all of whom I take with me wherever I go. :) Peace, Love & Beh Appy - Jup |
| THE (always tentative) PLAN (as with most of my trips, unplanned side-trips and changes to itinerary are a must.... click on the JupFinder for the latest location updates, funky stories and any advice I've received & can pass on.). Countries visited and order will change with friends itineraries, travellers suggestions & cash flow. This Plan is more of a wish list than an itinerary. I know better than to predict my (traveling) future with ANY certainty. :) Ok... the plans have changed (again!) as of May 27, 2002. The new plan follows... 2001 June 3-9 - Paris, France (yep, had to rebook & this is where I'm startin'... for now) June 9-12 - San Sebastian, Spain June 12-20 - Lisbon, Portugal June 20-22 - Lagos, Portugal (crazy touristy party place...wrong place to think I'd get away!But fun nonetheless ) June 22-26 - Seville, Spain (gorgeous city... gotta check it out if you're in Spain) June 26-29 - Granada June 29-July 2 - Cordoba July 2-4 - Madrid July 4-19 - Valdelavilla (a place near Madrid, on an English teaching pilot project through Vaughan Group) July 19-30 - Madrid August 1-7 - Barcelona August 7-9 -Calafell (a beautiful beach town not too far from Barcelona) August 9-11 - Barcelona (again... yay!) :) Aug 11-13 - Calella (another beach town but it's mainly a Brit/French/German resort) Aug 13-17 - Barcelona (part 3) Aug 18-22 -Genova, Levanto and the Cinque Terre, Italy Aug 22-23 - Zurich, Switzerland (beautiful, but bloody expensive!!!) Aug 23- Sept 2 - Stuttgart and Esslingen, Germany Sept 2 - 11 - Osnabruck (Versmold, Bad Rothefelde & surrounding area... Germany, village-styles!) Sept 11- 19 - Hamburg Sept 19-22 - Copenhagen, Denmark Sept 22-25 - Gothenberg, Switzerland Sept 25-30 - Berlin, Germany Sept 30- Oct 6 - Prague, Czech Republic Oct 7 - 17 - Valdelavilla Part III (second one for me) Oct 17- Nov3 - chillin' in Madrid again. :) Nov 4- Nov 11 - London, England Nov 11- 13 - Coventry, England (student town near Birmingham) Nov 14- 28 - Toronto, Canada (yup, I don't believe it either. Can't get enough of my hometown. March 12-14 - Palolem, Goa March 15 - Alappuzha (Alleppy), Kerala March 16 - Backwaters journey from Alappuzha to Kollam (Quilon),hen to Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) March 17 - beaches of Kovalam, Kerala March 18 - Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. India's "Land's End" March 19-20 - Madurai March 20-28 -Chennai (Madras) March 29- April 2 - Coimbatore, mainly at Chinmaya International Residence School (CIRS) April 3-9 - Bangalore April 10-11 - Hyderabad April 12-22 - New Delhi, Part IV April 23-May 4 - Dehra-Dun, (part II) May 4-9 - New Delhi Part V (yeah, I'm not even that fond of the city!) May10 - Bangkok, Thailand (for under 12 hours but 2 temples and 1 market curry!)
