What is Huntington's Disease?
- Huntinton's disease is a mutation of a protein called Huntingtin, which is a crucial    protein for sending messages to the body.

-The disease affects the
basal ganglia, which is an important pathway to the central    nervous system.

-The diesease eventualy causes the victim to completely lose control of the body.

-The disease starts as involuntary movements to losing the ability to walk, and finally losing the ability to swallow.

-After the person is affected, it usually takes 10- 20 years for the affected person to die.
