SAM Leadership Committee

The committee serves to plan and develop, in conjunction with the Single Adult staff liaison, the overall Single Adult Ministry program. Their duties include such things as developing the long term vision for reaching single adults in the Athens area and preparing the annual budget. The committee consists of five members each serving a two year commitment. Committe members are appointed by the Church Council per the church constitution. There are also deacon and ministerial staff liaisons that serve as non-voting members to aid in communication among other committees amd provide guidance as needed. Below you will see the current members of the comittee as well as their email address so that you can contact them with your concerns, comments, and questions. Planning a Single Adult Event

How to get the word out: SAM website and listserve: Send annoucement to bhbcsam@yahoo.com Beams/Announcer: Pam Ratti publisher@beechhaven.org 548-2246 Newspaper: Church announcements are published each Saturday in the Athens Banne-Herald as a free public service. Announcements may be sent via email to news@onlineathens.com or via fax 706-208-2246. Annoucements must include contact name, phone number and address of the church or sponsoring organization or event location. The deadline for receiving announcements is noon on Wednesday. Announcements are published on a space available basis, so receipt of an announcement by the deadline is not a guarantee of publication. Financial Assistance: Submit a proposal to SAM committee via chairman.
