| To produce a character, hold down the alternate key and enter a code number on the NUMERIC KEYPAD (numlock on). NUMERIC KEYPAD are the keys like a calculator. *NOTE: Put 0 in front of each number. Examples: [Alt]+[0172] to get [¬] [Alt]+[0159] to get [Ÿ] [Alt]+[0155] to get [›] 128 € 143 ? 158 ? 172 ¬ 186 º 200 È 214 Ö 228 ä 242 ò 129 ? 144 ? 159 Ÿ 173 187 » 201 É 215 × 229 å 243 ó 130 ‚ 145 ‘ 160 174 ® 188 ¼ 202 Ê 216 Ø 230 æ 244 ô 131 ƒ 146 ’ 161 ¡ 175 ¯ 189 ½ 203 Ë 217 Ù 231 ç 245 õ 132 „ 147 “ 162 ¢ 176 ° 190 ¾ 204 Ì 218 Ú 232 è 246 ö 133 … 148 ” 163 £ 177 ± 191 ¿ 205 Í 219 Û 233 é 247 ÷ 134 † 149 • 164 ¤ 178 ² 192 À 206 Î 220 Ü 234 ê 248 ø 135 ‡ 150 - 165 ¥ 179 ³ 193 Á 207 Ï 221 Ý 235 ë 249 ù 136 ˆ 151 - 166 ¦ 180 ´ 194  208 Ð 222 Þ 236 ì 250 ú 137 ‰ 152 ˜ 167 § 181 µ 195 à 209 Ñ 223 ß 237 í 251 û 138 Š 153 ™ 168 ¨ 182 ¶ 196 Ä 210 Ò 224 à 238 î 252 ü 139 ‹ 154 š 169 © 183 · 197 Å 211 Ó 225 á 239 ï 253 ý 140 Œ 155 › 170 ª 184 ¸ 198 Æ 212 Ô 226 â 240 ð 254 þ 141 ? 156 œ 171 « 185 ¹ 199 Ç 213 Õ 227 ã 241 ñ 255 142 ? 157 ? ~U = underline ~B = bold ~I = italics ~n = neutral ~b = blue ~r = red ~g = green ~k = black Example for a banner: ~B«~r†~k›((~rK~b•~rO~g•~rS~k))‹~r†~k» would look like: «†›((K•O•S))‹†» You can toggle these commands off by typing them again...sometimes. It's kind of sensitive and moody so sometimes you can and sometimes you have to wipe it by typing ~n for neutral and then the commands you want Example toggling: ~B«~U†~U›((~UK•O•S~U))‹~U†~U» might (if you're lucky) be: «†›((K•O•S))‹†» However if you are not lucky it will most likely end up looking something like this: «†›((K•O•S))‹†» If it does you can redo it by using the ~n command in the example below: ~B«~U†~n`B›((~UK•O•S~n`B))‹~U†~n~B» Note: Whenever you use the neutral command it goes back to plain text so you have to re-enter whatever commands again after the ~n ...you will get the idea with a little dabbling. |

| Most of you know how to cut and paste. If you don't I will tell you how here. Using the cursor, click it at the beginning of what you want to copy and drag it across the entire line of text you want copied so that it is highlighted. While it is highlighted you press "Ctrl" and "c" -- then click on where you want it copied to and press "Ctrl" and "v". You will notice when trying to cut and paste from the text window that sometimes it won't copy what you have highlighted. The reason is... someone else has done something to trigger a text message that actually moves your line of text even though it remains highlighted so that you aren't cut and pasting what you think you are. If it is something important just put everyone on ignore and make sure you are in a place with no NPC spam before cutting and pasting. I usually just highlight it, "Ctrl c" and make sure no text comes into my window. If there is then I redo until it is copied correctly. |
