Classes… Hmmm… so far, I have lived though ……lemme think my school life.. Math was great because my teacher was energetic and really liked what she was teaching (yeah, Iam talking about Mrs. Suganthi and Mrs.Mano), I guess I could say that she was inspired, and it made me want to learn. As Iam bit weak in Math. Add to that the fact that I understood, for the most part, what I was supposed to be doing and I was getting along pretty well. History, that was a fun class too, I’m not quite sure how, but my teacher (Mrs.Vasantha) managed to make it interesting and stimulated my desire to learn about history. Though I cannot forget those Cane shots we all use to get..Atleast 60% of the class would stand outside for different reasons and I would be there for not memorizing the dates.. so on. Now my English class that was a different story… I had it two times a week and for two hours straight. I was bored out of my mind most of the time in the beginning; all we could basically do was look at Math homework and geography Map drawing.. Later Mrs. Rani took us to the real art world and Mrs. Rosalind in the higher Secondary would feel for the Sonnet by Shakespeare and we started loving English classes.. Although, the Biology classes were okay in the higher Secondary it was scary in the Matric division as Mrs.Sumangala is a real teacher, who tamed all naughty with her high experience. In the Higher Secondary, at least we got to go out and see some slides. I must confess that most of the time we were looking at slides I was half asleep and only opened my eyes to take a quick look the new slide that was up. But still is scored well at the finals. Thanx to Mr.Shanmug and Mr.Damo This quarter things are still looking fairly good, with a few twists here and there. My classes are really wonderful all year. Math, I’m running into some major problems here. Made it through Calc. 1, learned to do derivatives, peachy right? Then along comes Calc. 2, learn to undo derivatives, and should be okay… But, for some reason I just can’t grasp the concepts too well. But Mrs. Suganthy would put her all time on me at her home too to push me ahead out of school to join physics major. Physics, this class is interesting. Although I admit I’m a little smart on it because most of the time I’m with a wealth of ideas and we have to design things… But either way, so far it’s been good and I know that I’ll come away with something learned. Chemistry, now here is a class that I expect to be loaded with homework for. And of course those will be writing assignments, so I may well end up spending much of my time in the Writing Center or glued to my table. Although, at this time the class is feeling very much like busy class, which is good because of Mrs.Jain Miralini in the Matric and Mrs. Gurupackiam in the Higher Secondary. So What about Physical instruction classes. That was cool time as we use to walk some meters away to reach the ground and that would eat sometime and would return soon before we hear the bell.RING.G. Gggg. So what are these computers? We did not have them at all working at out times. But still had a teacher for that. Who is that I dono…. We had Just MPCB two sections. But we cannot forget Hindi and Tamil classes of Mrs Sharf and Mrs Newmen Now we are ready for the next day. |
