Spring Street Yard The maintenance shop and Home of the Watauga Valley Chapters Cars. On the yard at Jonesborough Tn. is the WATX 500, WATX 539, WATX 400 all which are AMTRAK approved .

This is the Moultrie Diner,used on the ALC for years and then Amtrak still up and down the East Coast.After years of use a lot of work had to be done to the structure.The car is now Amtrak approverd for all service.The kitchen now has modern equipment but has kept most of its original looks.Since this picture was taken the interior has been updated new curtians and new wallpaper, upholster of tables and seats and new carpet Photo Bill Howard
