Barbara Trump Burningham passed away Sunday, July 20, 2008 at the age of 65 of liver failure. She was born Nov. 18, 1942 in Salt Lake City to Earle J. and Fay Burningham Trump. She attended Stoker School, South Davis Junior High, and graduated from Bountiful High School in 1961. On March 14, 1963 she married her sweetheart Ray D. Burningham in the Logan Temple. Theirs is one of the world's great love stories and a perfect marriage. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When not serving as an elementary school room mother, her favorite church calling was that of Cub Scout Den Mother. She was actively involved in local politics and was appointed to the Board of Adjustments of Bountiful City by Mayor Elmer Barlow. Shortly after graduation she worked for Mountain Bell Telephone. For many years she worked at Davis County Sheet Metal, the family business founded by her grandfather, Charles A. Trump. She also worked as dental assistant in Bountiful and later as a music teacher at Three Falls Elementary School in Hurricane, UT, where she had lived since 2001. She was an avid reader and a lifelong learner. She studied German and loved its culture. She cultivated a beautiful rose garden and loved to go to baseball games. In recent years she enjoyed scrap-booking and visiting with friends and family. Preceded in death by her brother, Kent (1951), her father, Earle (1994), and her mother Fay (1994). She will be greatly missed by her husband, Ray; her children, Bruce and Toni Burningham, Normal, IL; and Sue Ellen and Taalon Huber, Centerville, UT; her brother, Jim and Sharren Trump, Hurricane UT; and her sister, Eileen and Guenter Broomé, Taylorsville, UT; her grandchildren, Cassandra and Drew Burningham, and Gavin, Alex, Kayci, Braxton, and Jaiden Huber; and her many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Mon., July 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Bountiful Tabernacle, 51 South Main. Friends may call Sun. evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Mon. morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
