Les Turner
Les Turner "Grandpa Backhoe" 7/30/42 ~ 2/11/04 Lester Sharp Turner, our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. Married LaDonna Jensen in 1962, together they had four beautiful children. After 24 years of marriage she suddenly passed away. Dad worked hard to provide and care for us after the loss of our mother. Later he fell in love with Susan Arnett. They married in 1989 and successfully brought their two families together. He established the Les Turner Construction Company and diligently served his customers. Family was the most precious element in his life. He was happiest when on a pack trip with his horses and family in the High Uintas. Survived by his wife Susan and their nine children: Todd (Don), Tonya (Tim), Troy (Annette), Tiffiny (Brandon), Bryan (Marie), Kursten (Michael), Bobby, Gavin (Sarah), and Laura (David), and 16 grandchildren: Kevin, Kurtis, Kierra, Kolton, Brianna, Taylor, Ashley, Tanner, Lindsey, Connor, Megan, Hunter, Parker, Scheyler, Aubrey, and Nathan, and his brothers Larry, Gary and Lynn. Les was preceded in death by wife LaDonna, parents Ray and Margaret, sister Leah, brothers Al, Arlo, and Lawrence. Dad, grandpa, brother, life teacher, Mr. T , and honey, we love you very much. Enjoy the perfect horse rides in heaven until we meet again. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Turner's home ward chapel, 1395 South 200 East, Farmington.
