Rey passed away April 6, 2005 from complications of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). He was born July 10, 1942 in Centerville, UT to Nellie Linge and Arol Pratt. He served three and a half years in the National Guard in Utah. Rey had 31 years in good standing with Alcoholics Anonymous. Member of the Salt Lake City Four Square Church. Survived by his wife Carol; children, Julie Simons (Scott), Mark O'Brien, Richard O'Brien, Gregory O'Brien (Terry), Timothy O'Brien (Linda); 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grand-children; sisters and brothers, Joyce Barton, Frank Pratt (Jeanette), Sherry Allen, and David Pratt (Roberta); and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brother Reed Pratt; brother-in-law Robert Barton. Funeral services will be Saturday April 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 E. 1300 So., where family and friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services.
