| december 14th, 2002 babysat twins tonight. brandon and isabelle. oh they are precious two year olds! loads of fun. we only had one little problem. at one point in the night, brandon locked isabelle in the bathroom. isabelle flops down on the floor and starts screaming. i assume that she can't get out and is scared, but no, she's just mad at brandon. i start to run around the house looking for one of those little pokey keys to stick into the door or an ice pick or a screw driver or anything that will get that door open. i was about to call their dad when i hear the door open, and over walks isabelle. mark and ashely forgot to tell me they know not only how to lock themselves in the bathroom, but also how to get out. fun fun fun. december 17th, 2002 argh. had to march GMAC bowl parade tonight. it sucked. royally. oh well. left school at 11 today, to go study. whoever decided to have that stupid parade the night before exams should be taken out and shot. december 18th, 2002 math and french exams today. math, i have no clue what i did. i believe i did okay on the french exam, though. i could use my notebook on the whole thing. i know i made a 45 out of 50 on my orals. well, i don't suppose it's important to worry, though. left at 11 again today. we only had a half day. december 19th, 2002 took anatomy and physiology exam today. made a 100. we were supposed to memorize 6 diagrams from the book and tell the function of everything we labeled. well, she cut off two, and forgot to tell us (though she claims to remember telling someone), because we never got to that system of the body. man, i racked my brains ragged trying to memorize the diagrams of the male and female reproductive systems for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! oh well. i didn't know them that well anyway. she also put a diagram on there that we weren't assigned. we had taken a test on it during the year, so she sad that anything we got right on it would be bonus. so, i ended up with a 105 out of 93, but since the computers won't accept more than a 100 percentile, i had to take a 93 out of 93. OMG!!! michelle got me the GREATEST christmas present. she made me a vash doll! it is so precious. yes, i mean made, as in made it. it's a vash rag doll (like a ragedy ann doll...kinda...). it is so precious. i'll post a picture as soon i get my film developed. this design of doll has appeared in several of her fan art for trigun, and i always said i'd love one, and i have one!!!! woo hoo! december 20th, 2002 went to the GA sleepover. now that was fun. 7 screaming girls in one house. oh dear. what was cool, though, was that jennifer (the GA leader) has a barbie townhouse like i had when i was little. mine was a hand-me-down, and it died when i was 10 or so. jennifer still has hers and gave it to her daughter hannah. i was spazzing. jennifer also had the same mcdonalds barbie play set that my cousin deana (the person i got the townhouse from) had. the only down side was that the girls frefused to quiet down until about 3:10 saturday morning. oh well. who needs sleep anyway? december 24th, 2002 on christmas eve, i always get to open one present, which are pajamas. this year, guess what my pajamas are. CARE BEARS!! i now have bedtime bear pajamas, and i am super excited. now, just to pass the rest of the night. oh dear. december 25th, 2002 yay! christmas! my favoritest day in the world. this morning i got a PS2, FFX, a gorgeous japanese doll, a wallet, a porcelain indian doll, a froggy change purse, money, a super spiffy glass pen that requires an ink well, and some various odds and ends. OH! the folks also got me a charm bracelet and a cell phone charm. nanny, who was in on it, got me a wwjd jesus fish charm and a music note charm. great day. great day. january 4th, 2003 happy birthday to me! j'ai dix-sept ans, maintenent. i can now legally go and see rated r movies by myself. uneventful day. i've opted to not have a birthday party, cuz i won't have time until late february or march. oh well. i didn't have a fifteenth birthday party, i guess i can live without a seventeenth one. january 7th, 2003 second day back to school and i have a field trip. that would be cool, except that i don't want to go on this field trip. we have honor band today. yay. why on earth did i have to go off and make honor band? i don't know anyone who actually wants to be here. we all try out for a combination of two reasons; one, we would feel stupid not even trying, and two, it looks good on college applications that you at least try out and if on the off chance you make it, it looks even better. february 8th, 2003 ACTs today. hope i did well. i'm a little worrried about it. jo bob says i did fine, but i'm not so sure. i know i'll get a passing and perfectly acceptable score, it's just that if i get what i want (a 31) i can go to the college of my choice completely free. mom says not to worry about college cuz we'll figure something out, but i do worry about it, and i just can't help it. february 14th, 2003 neither me nor michelle had boyfriends or dates, so we stayed in, played video games, and ate chinese. lots of fun. may become our valentine's tradition. february 28th, 2003 home free! yay! ok, in the last week i have marched three eight-mile-long parades. fun fun fun. why is it that more crews can't take routes B or C during mardi gras? no. they all have to take route A. our last one was last night (with the Mystic Stripers crew), and we were the call out band, which means that we were the first band in the parade and we got to go inside the civic center and play for the members of the crew. hee hee hee. they were drunk. very drunk. oh well, at least they had a cool theme--Harry Potter! i think they had the best theme of all. came in late to school today. i just did not feel like leaving the house at 6:30 this morning, so i came in at 11:30 and attended 3rd and 4th blocks. i really only needed to be there for 4th block cuz we took exams in 2nd and 3rd blocks yesterday. i got a 100 on my french exam and a 97 on my english exam. i'm excited. i'm a little worried about history, though. |
