The Storybook Comes to a Close
-Encore performed "Noises Off" at the state drama convention.
-Wayne McCoy took over as band director.
-Victoria Williams and Bonnie Sberna received the John Philip Sousa award.
-"Little Shop of Horrors" came to BHS.
-F.H.A. received the Award of Merit and National FHA/HERO Community Service Award.
-A heated French Club vs. Spanish Club volleyball match was held - the winner is still yet to be determined!
-Alexis Polley served as the first ever female Student Council President.
-Boys Basketball: 1st in NOL and Sectional Champs
-Girls Basketball: 3rd in NOL
-Girls Cross Country: NOL Champs and 6th at State
-Football: 2nd in NOL
-Golf: 3rd in NOL and Bellevue Invite Winners
-Girls Track: 3rd Place at NOL Meet
-Wrestling: 5th consecutive NOL title
-Krista Tuttamore was named Homecoming Queen while Kristen Dauch and Kristy Long were attendants.
-Jodi Weasner reigned as Prom Queen and Seth Begley was Prom King.
-The Class of '96 won the Spirit Award and earned a trip to Sports City!
-Laura Pulkkinen from Finland, Linnet Cortlever from the Netherlands, and Minako Maeda from Japan joined us at BHS as exchange students.
-Mr. Haas retired and one section of his AP English class threw him a strategically planned retirement party to get out of the final.
-Academic Letters were instituted.
-The Senior girls won Powder Puff football.
-The Seniors barely lost the Relay Race to the Juniors during Spirit Week.
-Barry Fultz was named Mr. Universe.
-A tornado hit BHS!
