Gosh I miss doing this everyday. I really do. I can't wait until I get a computer of my own...maybe another 2 months or so. I hope I hope.
I also want my own computer so I can make phone calls to people back home. I feel bad that I've been hogging the phone so much. Two nights ago when Grant called both Anna (my 2nd roommate who comes up on Friday) and Tammy's mom called. I felt bad having to tell them that I was on the phone long distance and such. Aish...One day.
So i've been relatively busy lately. I did in fact get a job last week. Its for an insurance company in the financial district...only 1 block from the bart station! I'm going to be something like an administrative assistant or something to that effect. It pays pretty well and the benefits are great so i'm happy. I start tomorrow too. ACK! I was kinda pissed though when 3 more employers called yesterday...a full week after I sent my resume. One was for a classroom aide and the other was for a position at the children's museum right here in Berkeley. I was actually quite pissed that it took them so long to get to me. Sheesh. Bastards. Oh wells, I'll be happy with what I have. I mean, at least its easily accessible and it pays well. Right?
Saturday night was the iistix.com/internetpopstar.com party in the city. It was a really cool party and I really liked the dj. Min bought me and lester a drink...I had a long island...one of the nastiest drinks around...but only cuz they didn't know how to make my favorite drink, a Chernobyl. Bastards! I also helped out at the door with collecting money for a bit...it was a bit difficult while I was buzzing but umm...it went okay. I saw a lot of people I've only seen online before and it was kinda weird. Like I remember having to collect money from Gerard Reyes and I was all surprised. haha. I dunno why. I wanted to say something but I didn't for fear of making a complete ass out of myself, especially since I wasn't sober at all. haha. oh wells. I also saw Won there. I had invited her and she actually came! i was soooooooooooo happy when she came that we were hugging and everything when we first saw each other. =) Then the bad thing happened where I feel completely bad. Since I hadn't eaten anything since my HUGE dim sum lunch that one disgusting drink made me sicker than I've ever been before off of alcohol. Lester, Won, and Won's roommie took me to go look for a place to eat but we never found any that were open. I ended up throwing up a lot along the side of the road...and in the bath room...and in a plant..and well, lets just say that I felt reeeeeeeeally bad and I kept apologizing to the 3 of them. I just had Lester take me home early and I just crashed at home. It was only ONE drink! sheesh. But I vow never to drink again...well, for a really long time anyway. I don't think I can even drink the bottle of lemon soju me and tammy bought to celebrate the day Elena moves out. what a damn shame. so yeah..sorry min, won, lester, and won's roommie.
And speaking of elena moving out...dood, she totally overstayed her welcome. She was first supposed to move out on thursday but then deferred it to the weekend. Her sister ended up coming and staying over (and tammy's parents were up here too) and she never even mentioned it! we were actually putting off cleaning the house until she left cuz she's so nasty to live with. ugh. She FINALLY left Sunday night..but all her crap is still in anna's room. Monday we totally deep cleaned and disinfected the house. We rearranged stuff in the kitchen, cleaned the floor (you could see where we scrubbed and where we didn't! it was that dirty!) then we scrubbed the tub (its sooooooo clean now!) and did the toilet (it was really nasty) and the sinks and the floor and then we vacuumed the entire house (save for anna's room...she can do that when she gets here). Then while tammy and I were getting ready to eat lunch in pops Elena to collect some more of her crap for her co-op place. She walked through the house with her shoes on!! like the new shoe rack by the door didn't tip her off. I was soooo mad! on my nice clean kitchen floor even! Aish. Me and Tammy were sooo bitter. I'm glad she's gone though. She just has to come Thursday to collect the rest of her crap. THANK GOD!
So yeah...we have a new shoe rack from IKEA that I bought on Sunday along with a new bed (yes! i finally can stop sleeping on the floor after Friday!), a mirror, curtains (no more nasty green blech), and little things. I was sooooooooooo happy to buy these things. Of course I don't have money for it yet..but I will soon...well, by the time my CC bills come I hope. haha
Then today me and tammy went shopping in Union Square. I was soooooooo happy about that too. haha. I went a little crazy. heehee. I love Old Navy!! and I bought 2 pairs of nine west shoes at Macy's (i actually got a 50 cert for there from mypoints.com so it was even better!) and I was extreeeemely happy. I just need a few more shirts, a new bag, and a nice jacket and I'll be satisfied. haha. Well, maybe I can never be satisfied but you know what i mean. =)
Well, I better go now. I feel bad that I'm always using Lester for his computer. But he's really nice. OOOOOOOOOhhh..and he shouldn't complain cuz I made him a reaaaaaaaaaaaally good dinner last night. Yep, I'm actually learning to cook. I made Mochiko chicken and I was extreeeeeeeeeeeeemely proud of myself cuz it came out so yummy. =) heehee
Okie...I wonder if Grant will call again today...it would make it 7 days in a row of talking to him. Yeah, I'm spoiled but he's the sweetest guy and I now I don't deserve him...but I'm not going to complain ^_^ Good night everyone and wish me luck for my first day of work tomorrow...so scary. =P
