I'm doing an early entry since tomorrow the fumigators are coming and I'll be at my halmunee's house for about 2 days. I
still have to finish cleaning my room for that so I decided to do this first. If you missed yesterday's entry just go to the
Archives.
Maybe this time away will be good for me. I haven't been eating very well so I'm looking forward to my halmunee's cooking.
Only bad thing is that she's basically turned vegetarian since my aunt who lives with her doesn't eat meat and is a health freak.
Oh joy. But I'm hoping to finish the book I'm reading, brush up on GRE studing, and finish my resume. We'll see if I actually
get them accomplished though.
gosh, I'm kinda upset about this fumigation thing though. My parents are staying at the Hawaii Prince Hotel since my dad
had a discount for 2 room rentals there. I had originally thought I was going to be staying there too, and that we were only staying
for one night, but my parents said that I'm on my own and that they're just going to use the 2 coupons for a 2 night stay.
That just sucks. Boohar. Oh wells, what am I going to use a hotel room for anyway right? ;P
I bought my ticket today and so now I'm all set. Just gotta buy luggage and send some of my stuff before hand. Aish. How
much do you think that would cost? I'm so excited though. "I'm leaving...on a jet plane. Don't know when I'll be back again..."
I love that song, don't you? ;P But seriously, I'm really getting excited since SF seems like the place to be. Oh, I forgot to
mention how when we all had lunch together and were talking about people from hs Micah had said that a whole bunch of people had
moved up there. I'm just thinking how weird it would be to run into some of those people cuz I mean, they are the last peopel you
expect to run into in another state you know? I so hope that doesn't happen. heh.
Tomorrow, besides getting the house tented, is my first day of summerfun work. Woohoo! I can't wait. Its just going to be
paperwork and orientation though. But still...just the fact that summerfun is starting makes me excited. Next week is the
workshops and stuff, then the 14th is the first day of the actual summerfun with the kids. yeehee! I really hope I get 4th
grade or 3rd grade like I want, that and Arts and Crafts. I don't want sports and games outside anymore. So hot! ;P Hrmm, I
should update my people list since I'll be talking about all my coworkers all summer. ^_^ Well, just to introduce them now,
there's Russell, Grant, Kekoa, Erin, Angie, Rochelle, Jaye,
Abbie, and Erin's friend Tisha. Then there's also all the jr. leaders and then Ada and
Ms. Gail. More on all of them some other time. ;P
I was watching Entertainment Tonight earlier and it had a little story on the XMen movie. It looks like its going to be
tite yo. ;P Halle Berry is Storm, Cyclops looks hella fine, and Patrick Stewart is Professor Xavier. How cool is that? Ooh,
I just went to an XMen movie site (I would've gone to the
official site but it isn't working for me right now. boohar)
and the movie is looking so cool!! =) Hrmm, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos is also in this movie as Mystique. But the main reason I
want to really see this movie is for Patrick Stewart. He's such a powerful actor and I think he totally fits the role of
Professor X, don't you? Oh he's just so cool. I miss him and his Star Trek the Next Generation. ;P Was that a geeky thing
to say or what? haha Anyway, July 14th everyone!! Be ready! Dang, and I still have to see MI2. aigoooooo.
Ok, well, I best be cleaning my room once again. Hrmm, I wonder what I should take with me to gmum's house. I hate taking
a bath there cuz its all old fashioned and she uses a bucket instead of the shower. haha. Oh well, back to old Korean ways I
guess. ^_^ Oh, and I have to help out at Liliha Elderly Home or something this Saturday with KSA and stuff. Should be interesting.
