Guess what!! I've hit bottom and now I'm on my way back up. YAY!!!

Ok, so hitting not-so-rock-bottom isn't much to be happy about, but I am quite relieved that this spell didn't last that long. I looked through past entries and discovered the last time I felt sad/depressed/smothered was about two months ago. Oh, and on a side note, I realized how irritating it is that I don't have "fwd" and "back" buttons between entries anymore, but the reason I killed them off was because it makes updating a lot more tedious. Yes, I'm lazy. Live with it. =) but yeah..sorry. ;P

Anyway, last night was the climax of my whole ordeal. (Although I dunno if I would call it a climax. I'd rather be "climaxing" at something entirely different at this point. hehe ^_~) I would've cried myself to sleep but I was waiting for my hair to dry so I looked through old pictures and letters, cried a bunch, then started sucking it all up and actually started packing things. I didn't know a box of books could be so heavy. I'm trying to be selective with what I pack, but dang its soo hard! I planned to take all my math books and notes with me, but now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't since I probably will be going into Elem. Ed up in Cali instead of HS Math, but who knows right? I still have to sort through it all, but at least I started. hehe.

This morning I awoke extremely drained and tired and I had the typical day-after-crying-all-night baggy eyes. At least I felt a little better and more upbeat. I found out Angie and Jaye were going to make gak/flubber in the morning too so we just combined. My rotten 4th graders mixed with little K-graders...interesting ;P Hrmm you wanna know how to make gak? You mix 2 cups of white glue with 1.5 cups of water then add food coloring to achieve desired hue. In a separate container you dissolve 1 tsp of Borax in 1/2 cup of water. Then combine and stir a bit. A big blobby substance will appear and you just have to keep kneading and squishing it with clean hands till its pretty dry and all the liquid disappears. This recipe makes enough for about 6 kids. =) Its also quite messy so be prepared...but boy is it fun to play with. =)

Today Sean was amazingly civil. Ok, so he wasn't a perfect angel but at least he wasn't throwing the same shit as yesterday. Douglas, on the otherhand, was the same, if not worse, than before. I have had just about enough of his antics so when he and Micah decided to have a fight right after morning assembly I just promptly sent them both to the office. Later I found out Douglas got sent to the office yet again during our gak activity, I'm not quite sure for what though. I think it was Jaye that sent him this time. Finally, in the afternoon we had waterplay and just as we were all getting ready to go to the assembly I see little Raven crying. (Raven is such a quite and nice guy..and he mostly hangs with the girls, but no one ever teases him so its all good. ;P) It turns out that because Raven wouldn't let Doug borrow his watergun Doug started swinging around his own towel and hit Raven smack in the eyes. Poor Raven. I asked Doug what he did and he even tried to justify it! I just sent him to the office again. I'm just tired and I don't have the time nor the energy to counteract him. So total office visits was THREE. And to think, today was the first time that I've ever sent him myself. LOL.

Despite the whole Douglas ordeal I was pretty chipper the whole day. I find that I really love it when I'm with the Kindergardeners. First during the gak time and then during waterplay. I was at the water balloon station with Kekoa and all the groups were pretty cool to play the tossing game with, but when you get the little ones its a bit different. First you have to explain even slower and simpler, and then you have to make it a lot easier. Since they were our last group and we had extra water balloons we just started playing with them. I would take the balloons and would pop them above their heads giving them a shower. At first they were really scared but by the end even the scared ones were crying out for more. "Me next! Do me next!" It was priceless.

Oooh, and waterplay is always great cuz we always get shave ice. YAY! We even had 3 flavors this time; strawberry, vanilla, and banana. How could it get any better? ;P

The afternoon was mainly taken up by the Aiea Complex Hot Shot competition. Hot Shots is this bball thing where you have to shoot baskets from certain points within a minute. The rules are a bit complex so I won't even try to explain it. One of my girls made it into the competition though and I was really hoping she'd make it to the next level. She was up against this one girl from our summerfun and 2 others. I'm sorry to say but one of the others was so pitifully bad that she was actually throwing underhand and was making some pretty bad airballs. I wonder how she even got that far. Unfortunately my girl, Dawn, lost the tie breaker with the other girl from our summerfun and was 3rd place (alternate). At least we have one girl representing that division though. =)

I spent another hour or so just chatting with some of my coworkers that were still there. I'm glad I have great coworkers because I feel that coworkers are the key to a successful and worthwhile job. I guess I mean "job-satisfaction." Don't you agree? Russell and Grant wanted me to find this one song "Iko Iko" by Zap Mama or something and burn it to a cd. Since I don't want to waste, I just told Grant to tell me other songs he wants. So now I have to do that. I must go search on Napster now. Oh the joy.

Ok, well, I leave you with two things: 1. My predicted date of death according to the death clock is Sunday, October 14, 2057 and 2. "What is YOUR pokename?" MY Pokéname is: Shatwad. I live in the rivers of Canada, and my diet consists mostly of fruits, garbage and green tea. My combat characteristics are that I can puke Dr. Pepper, puke lava, eat bricks, shoot sledgehammers, and breathe rocks. My natural enemy is Charbra. All I can say is "I CAN PUKE DR. PEPPER! YEAH BABY!" ;P

love always,
mars

Is it just me or does "Charbra" put bad images into your head?
