You would laugh if you could see the way I am set up right now. My computer is propped onto a box,
I'm sitting on the floor, I have candles lit, and all my crap is on my bed (and I mean ALL). hehe. If
I had seen this scene 1 year ago I would definitely break into a fit of laughter. And THIS is
how I'm studying for the gre? I'm doomed.
I've been procrastinating all day. It hasn't been this bad since last semester...maybe around April?
Damn that's a long time. The day started out by waking up late at Lester's house. We had stayed up quite
late watching Fight Club and Fools Rush In. Thanks Lester for entertaining me for so long. ;P The walk home
this morning..er, afternoon...was really nice. I miss walking home when there's still daylight. I was tempted to take pictures of my street
but it seems somewhat wasteful since I only have a regular camera and not a digital one. Digital would be
so much more fun and convenient. Anyone love me enough to get me one for xmas? hehe
The few hours after I got home are sort of a blur. I know I was online, I know I showered, and I know
I was planning to clean my room. At around 4:30 Lester told me he was going to come over for dinner so that
meant I actually had to get off my lazy butt to cook. I made my mommy's meatloaf. It came out really good!
I was so proud of myself. And it was super easy too. Meat, onion, celery, carrot, salt, pepper, egg, milk,
ketchup. Yum yum. =) Eating meat was especially satisfying since I'm pretty much sick of chicken now. blech
Oh! One bad thing that did happen while I was making dinner was that one of my phobias came true. You
know when you're grating something, are you ever scared that you'll somehow end up grating your finger(s)? Well,
I am. I dunno, sometimes I think I'll end up grating it so severly, but cmon, what are the chances you'll
grate your fingers into stubs? Well, I'm sorry, but its just one of those little fears that I've retained
since childhood. Heh. Well, I didn't grate my fingers into stubs today, but I did give myself a little
cut on my knuckle. bleh. It's not bad...only a little scratch...and I know I've had much worse accidents,
but just the thought of my fear coming true made me uneasy for a bit. heh. What?! Stop rolling your eyes,
I know I'm not THAT weird. sheesh!
Lester stuck around for a little while after dinner. He refused to go with me to Berkeley Bowl to get eggs
for the cookie dough I need to make for Tammy so she can continue to be lazy. I swear, her and Anna are
so funny. They just loved it when we bought the Pilsbury premade/precut cookie dough that only required them to
break off the peices and put into the oven. When it wasn't on sale the next week I suggested buying the one in
the little roll/tube. I apparently have lots to learn as they gave me the evil look of death for even
suggesting they do the laborious process of spooning the dough onto the cookie sheet. So yes, I offered to
make Tammy some cookie dough, precut and all, just for her...the lazy bastard. But I miss tammy. =( She's
away at her fencing tournament in Denver for the weekend. *sniff*sniff*
After Lester left I actually started organizing my room. I moved the computer boxes, I got all the shit
off my floor (i.e. put it all on my bed), I vacuumed (!!!), I put my monitor on a box so its now at eye level,
and then I started downloading like a madwoman. So far I have GOD's 3rd, most of Um Jung Hwa's 6th and I have
Im Chang Jung's 7th queued along with Koyotae3, Eun JiWon, and the OST for Gaeul Donghwa. Heehee. What? Don't give
me that look. As if YOU haven't procrastinated before. hrmph!
I did manage to practice a little on my GRE cdrom thingie. Oh boy. I am in trouble. boohar. Oh wells,
that's why God created cramming. heehee. T-minus 1 week. >O.o<
Speaking of boohar...Dave is
so weird. He says it and I'm always misled. haha. I always
ask him why he's boohar and he just laughs and says he likes saying it. hrmph. And then I got to chat with
the wonderful Clara today!
She's coming to SF for Thanksgiving! woohoo! Too bad I'm going to Hawaii. Why
is it that all the cool/fun things are happening when I'm gone! sheesh! Maybe I'll be able to meet up with
Clara before I leave though. Clara...keep smiling! =)
Okie, I'm either going to study s'more (yeah right) or I'm going to clean up my room/bed and go to sleep.
Heehee. I love sleep, don't you? Hopefully I won't update this page until after the gre...but we'll see
how my procrastination goes. Aish...maybe I don't miss school as much as I thought.
<3 always,
mars
