Lester and me @ the iistix party back in August.

Me and my friend's brother Slate in Hawaii. Isn't he so kawaii? He used to be a lot cuter with his bowl haircut. haha

Blogger hasn't been working for me lately so I'm getting really annoyed. erg. And you know what else?
I have found that I say "erg" a lot these days. haha
I'm very happy. Last night I went to Chili's for the first time and I tried the awesome blossom. Its
really good! Lester,
Tammy and I went down to Union City and ate there and then went to see Little Nicky.
That movie was pretty funny. Lots of randomness...especially the midgets. haha. I still like Water Boy
a lot better but if you love Adam Sandler I'm sure you'll like this one. =)
Of course, being in Union City we HAD to pick up some krispy creme. I was still really full from
dinner so I didn't eat mine until this morning, but oooohhhhhhhh...it was soooo good. The glazed and the
custard filled are my favorite! hehe We also got a couple for Lester's parents who live in Union
City. I'm sorry, but Lester, you grew up in a really ghetto town. It sorta reminds me of my house, but not
quite. hehe. whatever. Lester's parents are so cute! =)
Today Tammy and I went to Uhaul to rent a truck to transport this couch and stuff that Tammy's friend was
giving us. The friend lives all the way in Pacifica but it was a pretty nice drive. I'm sorry, but sometimes
the roads and freeways here just confuse the fuck out of me. Or well, maybe its not the streets but more like
the directions yahoo gives. Sometimes its just so confusing to be going one way when you know you're supposed
to be going the other way. Oh yeah, and it didn't help that I told tammy to get off at the wrong exit. hehe
oops.
When we got to Pacifica I was awestruck. It has been sooo long since I've had a wide, expansive view of
the Pacific Ocean. It was so beautiful! Granted, the town was kinda hick looking and I didn't like the houses
much but the view! Oh the view was wonderful and it made me long for Hawaii. Thank goodness I'm going back
in 5 days. 5 DAYS!! yeehee!
So we got to the house and the air definitely smelled like the ocean. It reminded me of the North Shore.
Just 6 days until I go there! haha. Tammy's friend had just moved to that house and so things were kind of a
mess. She had so many cats! Well, more than I'm used too. Normally people have like what...1? 2? She had
at least 3, maybe four. They scared me at first but it made me miss my cats. hehe. But dood...there was cat
hair everywhere! She vacuumed the couch while we moved the bookshelf (oh, I might also add that Anna did
NOT come with us to help because she went to the clinic again. Yeah, as if THAT was more important. She
can miss at least one day to help us. sheesh) but the couch was still pretty covered with hair. *shrug*
Oh wells.
The drive back was a little bit longer because of the constant traffic in this fucking area, but we survived.
We got home and struggled up the stairs with the couch and once we were at the top and in the doorway,
ladida, Anna comes walking up the driveway and says "Oh! Let me help!" Yeah, like we really needed it then.
She did help with the bookshelf but that didn't really count for anything.
Me and Tammy then left to return the truck. We should've gone down Ashby but we chose University instead.
What a mistake. Traffic up the ying yang. Doh! It was the BIG GAME. The big game between rivals Cal and
Stanford. We didn't watch it due to the moving and we didn't listen to it on the radio so we didn't know
the outcome and we were really curious. We took a bunch of shortcuts and got back to the Uhaul store in
time and then we decided to order chinese takeout from this place we passed by that we saw the phone number.
While I was picking up the food I happened to ask the guy if he knew who won the Big Game. He said "Oh, don't
you know? They lost. Yah, I heard it was at the last minute in overtime. Really close." The score? 30-33.
Ouch. Poor Cal. "Maybe next year," he said. And then he gave me my receipt and told me they included
honey glazed bananas. The food was eh...not all that great but oh well. The bananas were pretty good
and so was my fortune so that's all that matters. hehe. Good news will come to you from far away. ^___^
Ahhh...so nice and satisfied. We finally have furniture in our living room, I finally got to eat chinese
take out after MONTHS, and I can finally count the days till my return to Hawaii on one hand. hehee. Plus
I'm apparently gonna have dinner with the wonderful Clara
and Tammy, and the always spastic
Dave. haha. Hrmm, I wonder if I should
be nervous or something. =P
Okay, time to shower. I still have a lot of cat hair on me. Maybe I won't be getting a cat later
on in life. Fish...fish are a lot less maintenence and it isn't as heart wrenching when they die. hehe. What?!
Don't make like you've never killed a fish and felt no remorse.
<3 always,
mar
