Blogger has been sucking lately and I need to get laid. Okay, on that note time for my journal. hehe
I just got back from having Dinner with Won. I met up with Won after work and I had almost forgotten about our meeting until she called me
this afternoon to confirm. Good thing too because I think if I had just come home I probably would've
been really down
We ended up eating at the Cheesecake Factory. It was really nice just sitting there talking with her
about life. We actually ended up talking more about the good things about living in San Francisco compared
to Hawaii. We talked about my impending decision and honestly, I'm so stuck in the middle right now that
its not even funny. =/ We had a couple of drinks and dinner. The food ended up taking a really long time and it
turns out that they accidentally burned Won's pasta sauce so we had to wait for them to make it again. We
got free dessert out of it so its all good.
One really weird thing happen while we were there. While we were having dessert our waiter came up
to us and asked Won if she was from Hawaii and if she went to Radford High School. Dang! Talk about specific.
I told him that that would be me and he proceeded to tell me that one of his coworkers had seen me and said
that I looked familiar like someone who he went to school with. I thought I had seen one of the Polyasko
twins earlier but I just brushed it off cuz I mean, cmon...like someone from my highschool would be working
at Cheesecake factory the night I went to eat there. Well folks, it does happen. haha. It was Jerry
Polyasko and he came over to say hi. It turns out he's going to the Acadamy of Art College with his brother
John and he's in fashion design. He's been up here for about 2 years, going back and forth between here
and Hawaii. The Polyasko twins are a year younger than me and I still remember back when they were freshmen,
everyone thought they were so cute, like little boy cute. Then they went away for a while and when they
came back...DAMN! They were fine! haha. They played basketball and it was always an excuse to go to the
games with Rose. Well, them and Victor...and we mustn't forget Mr. Leong the coach. haha. yum. So yeah.
It was really nice catching up with people from my past [good, friendly, nice people from my past that is]. =)
And now tomorrow is Friday. Woop! I can wear my new jeans. YAY! hehe. Then I think I'm going to have a low
key weekend. I still have to clean the kitchen (ugh) and maybe I'll go jogging finally, especially with
this great weather [I never thought I'd say 50-60 degree weather is great]. Oh wait! I need to buy new
running shoes. Damn. I finally threw out my old ones when I went back home in Nov. I had them for like
FIVE years! Gosh I miss them. hehe. Well, hopefully I can exercise soon. I'm seriously getting chubby.
erk. So yeah. Time for Will and Grace in a few minutes. It'll be the first time watching it for sooooooooo
long...well, at home anyway. I just realized I saw it last week with
Dave too. haha. Dave's new design is
looking really good. I can't wait to see the finished product. =) Hope everyone has a great Friday!
love and aloha,
Maria
