Sheehan:

We met when we were both in 5th grade and she moved to my school in Asuncion, Paraguay. I remember the very first time I saw her, she was "the new student" and I wanted to talk to her, and help her adjust, but I was too shy. =p And i was really happy when my friend invited her over, and started talking to her. From then, I think we just started to get to know each other and become friends. She taught me the meaning of a best friend. We used to have stupid little fights, but in 6th grade, just some time before I left for Paris we got really close. Those weeks, or months before I left for Paris were probably one of the best, thanks to her. We've been living in different countries now for 8 years. Luckily, between that time we've been able to get together somewhere 4 times, and we're sure there's many more to come. ;) We're two very different people in some ways... she's loud, I'm quite, she's confident, i'm not. But I guess in the ways that we're different we simply complete each other. Then on the other hand, we have the similar tastes, and just ideas. Even as years go by, and we meet, we find similarities between us. She's just my best friend, she's someone I know will always be in my life, no matter what.
