Mailing List Etiquette

The rules listed below are not punishable offenses. In other words, breaking these rules will not get you thrown off the list. But in the long run it would be better if everyone followed these rules, and save fellow members and yourselves prolonged periods of frustration.

-Write a summary of your story to post with your fic at the beginning of your e-mail or on the e-mail that contains the attached story.

-Use the ratings system to post with your fic to be located somewhere in the summary or in the e-mail subject:

S=sexual situations
MM=male/male (shounen ai)
FF=female/female (shoujo ai)
L=offensive language (even in other languages)

-Please provide a translation key either after or before the story for anyone who reads your fic who is not fluent in Japanese or other foreign language you may use.

-Indicate in the subject of your post that there is a fic contained in the message. For example "(slafic) The Big Shabang"...

-In order to reply to a reply made about a fic that you posted, please e-mail the individual who made the reply directly and not the whole list, not only does it reduce the amount of posts but your comment will more than likely be read. E-mailing the list will more than likely get the message deleted.

-When sending a picture of questionable content, please attach a warning in the subject, such as "Lina/Naga pic: X-Rated".

-Please limit shameless plugs to once a week, but feel free to post site updates whenever you wish.

-If you post over five pictures, please post their URLs (internet addresses) rather than the actual pictures, that way recipiants will not be swamped.
