We are an e-group at
yahoo. The group was founded in November 2001 by Harsh Verma. He is the
owner-moderator of the group. He found an accompanist in Rajesh Ranjan and
they exchanged emails through this group for sometime. Exchange of ideas,
motivation to make the group meaningful and a keen desire to see this group
lively & active – Both Harsh & Ranjan spent considerable time with
patience to formulate this group. By Jun 2002, the group had 400 members with an average of 250 emails
in a month. A forum of unknown Biharis from all over the world who share their ideas – Members from India,
Japan, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Nepal, Europe, UK, Canada,USA have
one thing in common – They are all Biharis with a strong attachment for Bihar
and a keen desire to do their bit.
Hopes, Dreams, Vision,
Ideas, Anger, Frustration, Ridicule, and Embarrassment – you will find varying
shades of these temperaments in the group members. There is an attempt to own, operate
& maintain the group in a manner that meets the much-desired norms of a civilized
society.
Discussions made in this forum get quite acidic at times.., plans are made that seem to come out
of a corporate board room, sarcasm that can make you angry, cynicism that
might frustrate you, jokes make you burst into peels of laughter (and
reactions that raises doubts on our sense of
humor) , philosophy that provokes your thought process, examples of self help
that moves you – All in all it’s a wonderful home you’ll fall in love with. The feeling that we are one big family
spread across the globe with one vision and one mission makes us stronger day
by day. Despite external differences that is so visible, we are one!
We are Biharis, most of us have never met one another but we
share a passion for our home state. We are an e-family!.
