For those who are not familiar with Civil War re-enacting.It is a hobby that involves presenting a living history presentation of the time period between 1861 - 1865.There is a re-enactment going on somewhere almost every weekend, somewhere.I belong to the Palmetto Light Artillery.We have three cannons, and love to burn lots of powder.The participents include Infantry, Cavalry, artillery, Civillians and others.We camp in authentic tents, wear period clothes and uniforms, eat and cook period food and carry authentic equipment.
