Summary: In the wake of her battle with Grotesk, Ms. Marvel is caught under a collapsing tower...just as she foresaw in her latest precognitive flash! Ms. Marvel falls into a chasm and awakens to find herself the captive of MODOK! Ms. Marvel is shocked when she realizes she is no longer wearing her costume! MODOK, having realized the power inherent in Ms. Marvel's Kree uniform has taken it in the hopes of creating an army of Ms. Marvels! MODOK is enraged when the suit fails to confer its abilities to one of his agents. But then, how could he know that the uniform's circuitry web was damaged in Ms. Marvel's battle with Grotesk?

Not one to give up easily, MODOK subjects Ms. Marvel to his Mind-Ripper device hoping to subjugate Ms. Marvel to his will. Ms. Marvel resists MODOK's attempts to seduce her with his brainwashing device, but despite a fierce mental and physical struggle for freedom, she cannot resist MODOK's commands. MODOK commands her to kill the female agent who donned her uniform. Internally, a new conflict rages between the enslaved Ms. Marvel persona and the soul of Carol Danvers! Memories belonging to the Kree Mar-vell merge with those of Carol Danvers and the resulting conflict is sufficient to break MODOK's mental domination. As Ms. Marvel lashes out at MODOK & his followers, she quickly realizes that she possesses all the abilities of her Kree uniform!

Realizing she is outmatched, Ms. Marvel flees the hidden base and emerges in Alden's Department Store, the front for AIM's New York headquarters. She quickly reverts to her civilian identity of Carol Danvers, realizing that her psychiatrist Mike Barnett was right, Ms. Marvel & Carol Danvers are one and the same! carol vows that MODOK has not heard the last of Ms. Marvel!

Comments: This issue reveals that Ms. Marvel now possesses the full power of her original Kree uniform due to a second exposure to the energies of the Kree Psyche-Magnetron. It also takes Carol one step closer to the full integration of her Ms. Marvel personality. Interestingly, we also see that Carol possesses some of Mar-vell's personal memories.
