Admission $2 for adults; children under 12 - Free          FREE PARKING Doors open to the public from 9AM until 4PM The Mayborn Convention Center is located just north of Temple Texas on Interstate Highway 35.  Take Exit #304 from the North or Exit #303B  from the South. There are several hotels/motels within one mile of the Convention            Center, located at Exit #302.

VENDOR SPACES ARE STILL AVAILABLE:  For information contact Helen Fahlsing 254-865-5831 or e-mail hfahl@htcomp.net Spaces include an 8 foot table with 2 chairs.  All spaces are $30.  Only Exotic Birds and Bird Related Items are allowable for sale. Contact Helen for early set up arrangements.

Texas Bird Breeders and Fanciers Association was established in 1947 and the first bird show was held in 1952.  This club is a state-wide organization and the first in Texas organized for the purpose of showing birds.  We remain dedicated to supporting bird shows and exhibits and committed to encouraging and developing better care and breeding of caged birds; to creating a better understanding and close relationship between breeders, exhibitors and retailers; and to provide assistance to beginners in the breeding and showing of quality birds. If you are interested in showing birds, or new to showing birds and would like to make contact with TBBFA, please contact Helen Fahlsing at the e-mail or phone number above.  I will put you in contact with someone in the club that can assist you with your exhibiting efforts. The annual BIRD SHOW will be held on the second Saturday in  November at the Mayborn Convention Center in Temple Texas.  A bird fair is also held at this time.
