| So here is my new Cassandra figure...I wanted a modern Batgirl to fit with the Mattel figures. When DC Direct released their Birds of Prey three pack, the scales matched nicely, but now the Hush figures are larger, so I imagine the upcoming First appearances Cassandra will also be larger...so here is my Mattel-scaled offering! She began life as one of thw Shadowrun figures...I forget her name, the Yakuza girl. I removed her rubber jacket and sanded down the details...the pockets on the belt fit quite nicely, and Isculpted the gloves, although you can't see them too well in the photo. I had to sand away the hair which wasn't too hard as it was tied back, and add the ears as well...luckily they havn't broken, YET! I wanted a better cape, but when I thought about it, the Mattel figures have cloth capes, and I wanted her to match, so I gave her this old one I had lying around. |
