| A little different "prayer" for yourself! DearFather, Holy is your name. Please help me change. Help me to see how much I need your wisdom and how very little I need my own. Help keep me from being blinded by what I do not have, so I can see clearly the many blessings I do have. Guide me dear Father to always speak your true word. Help me to look at others and see what I can do for them instead of what they can do for me. Please help me to give all the glory to you for the many great things you have done and take no credit for the little I have accomplished. Help me to be humble enough to listen to you and courageous enough to speak for you. Help me to remember all the good things You have done for me, for your grace is mighty and your love unending. To remember how precious and how high the cost was for the blood of our Lord and Savior that covers our sins. Help me please dear Father to be the kind of person who will bring more pleasure to you instead of grieve. I thank you for being my God and my Father, for your grace, mercy, and long suffering, our hope. I thank you Father for the most precious gift You gave, your son who suffer not because of anything that he did on earth, for he sinned "not" but he died to give to all who has sinned "life". I thank you also for your blessing of the Holy Spirit that you send in my Lord's name, for he will guide all who are willing to listen with their hearts and minds. I know dear Father that none of these things I am worthly to ask for but because you "love" us I know I can. In Jesus Christ most royal and holy name I ask. Amen |
