What else do we know about Peter, he was blameless, not self willed, not soon to angry, not a drunk, holy, loved good people, not violence, faithful to the word,vigilant, a teacher, patient, temperate, sober, people didn't sway him, he took the role as a husband and father serious, he was not covetous, he set a good example for people to see. How do I know Peter was all these things, because that is what an elder is suppose to be. It's funny I never really thought of Peter as patient, not soon to angry, not self willed and not violence(remember the ear) but with God what a difference a day makes as we grow in faith. |
