Summary of Romans chapter 3
The Jews wondered what advantage they had with their circumcision if they were considered sinners the same as the Gentiles.  However the Jews did have the Holy Scriptures commited to him which was an advantage but they had to obey the scriptures.  The Jews then tried to say that if their unrighteous demonstrated God faithfulness, why should they be punished. Their evil had brought good. Paul  tells them they are all under sin. He give s several examples of their sins such as going astray and having no respect for God.  The Jews did not keep the Laws of a Moses and the Gentile did not keep the natural Law.  Our righteous today is obtained through faith in Christ Jesus.  Both the Jews and Gentiles can come to Christ Jesus through obedience to the Gospel.  We have been redeemed by the shedding of blood of Jesus Christ.  Christ paid the penalty for our sins.  We can boast of nothing we have done but by faith in Christ Jesus and obedience to the plan of salvation.  The Law of Moses pointed towards the coming of Christ.  By accepting Christ today we honor this law.
