It is with great sadness that we report Ann's passing last December 2005. Ann was a key part of TBR, providing much of the late-breaking, local news of Deb and Blondie. We will all miss her very much. Ann is survived by our dear friend, her husband, Bill Garofalo.

Fan-Fun Frolic No. 6 was a gas! A great big thanks to all the loyal guests who showed up that cold, clear night -- Christmas was, definately, in the air. And a huge hug and kiss to our staff for all your hard work in making our party a smashing success.
FFF #7 was a little light and a little short, but still, many loyal fans came out and we had fun.
FFF No. 8 on June 5th was one of our best, ever!. The theme was: "Phasm 8-Frolic 8" party. It was at Kava lounge at 605 Hudson St and 12th St.
Louis A Bustamante was our guest of honor.

NEW APPOINTMENT: EFFECTIVE MARCH 1,'04
John Sibby has been added to the Official
TBR staff. This appointment is long over due and should have happened much, much earlier -- shame on me (your editor). John's title is "Historian and Archivist." John and I are geographical neighbors and became friends for many good reasons, but primarily with a bond of passion and appreciation for "...our band" and "...our girl." We both have frequented the various venues of New York's Lower East Side since the early days of Blondie's beginnings ... John more that me, but we didn't meet until 5 years ago... imagine that! And although I was around Lower Manhattan before and during CBGB's inception, I'm sure John has logged more trips to those very same places than me ... many of those places are the places that gave us the people who were to become Blondie...33 years ago (Oct 5, 1973)! John has a fantastic collection of Blondie material, an excellent memory, and a very organized brain where he stores tons of facts and details. We are all very proud to welcome John Sibby to our little, but dedicated, family.--BB

Ann Garofalo has been appointed to the position of New York City Reporter. Ann has been a contributor since the beginning of
TBR - now she is a permanent part of our staff of volunteers. Ann helps tremendously at the Totem parties and is one of the original dancing/singing Punkettes ... now the Blondettes. Welcome, Ann, and thanks for your continuous help.

Amy Oravec celebrates her 6th anniversary as associate editor of
TBR. With the beginning of TBR's 6th year, this December, we have more than enough reason to congratulate Amy for all her behind the scenes labor, creativity, and contributions. Although we don't mention her very often, she's there behind closed doors, working hard for us. Amy was there when TBR was just an idea. She helped nurture its beginnings and worked on each and every one of the 30 issues (including the White Books). She recrutes writers, photographers, and other contributors. Amy helps organize the Totem parties and contributes greatly to their success. Congratulations, Amy, and thanks for always being there for us.

Our new printing facility is The Graphic Touch. Eddie Fliess, a real hardcore Blondie fan, has volunteered to help us publish
TBR. The arrangements we have worked out will produce a much better quality magazine, allow us to forestall increasing subscription rates, provide more funds for our charity donations, and allow your editor to do more writing, research, and issue composition. We all win! Welcome aboard, Eddie.
