| Dracula by Bram Stoker First published in 1897 and never out of print, Bram Stoker's novel Dracula is a true classic, impossible to be ravaged by our ever-changing world and times. In it, Stoker tells of Dracula as the 15th century Romanian warlord he truly was, then carries him into late 19th century England, weaving supernatural elements to this character and making him into the vampire that we've come to know him as these past 100+ years. Time and time again, this king of the undead is resurrected through the various mediums of film, television, and more....all because of his everlasting ability to capture as well as recapture the imaginations of generation after generation throughout the world. Dracula truly is an immortal being....and Bram Stoker along with him. |

| The Dark series by Christine Feehan Currently composed of ten installments and with many more still to come, Christine Feehan's Dark series is the ultimate succession of novels for any and all lovers of vampire/vampiric romance. Revolving around an ancient race of benevolent beings known as Carpathians, each story presents a particular Carpathian male in seek of his lifemate, the one woman born to be his. For every couple, their individual tale is beautifully wrought with eroticism, drama, romance, horror, and comedy, as any wonderfully created story should be. As of presently, Mrs. Feehan's series is composed of the following titles: Dark Prince, Dark Desire, Dark Gold, Dark Magic, Dark Challenge, Dark Fire, Dark Dream (part of the After Twilight anthology), Dark Legend, Dark Guardian, and Dark Symphony. Though each novel can very well stand on its own, it's definitely more enjoyable, enthralling, and fulfilling to read the series in its chronological entirety. |
