	Evidence of the vampire's strong influence on motion pictures and television the world over, here's an anime series which ever so unfortunately lived for only twelve episodes.  NightWalker tells the story of a vampire by the name of Tatsuhiko Shido who's age is roughly between 200 and 300 years.  Converted by Cain, a much older vampire who became his lover, all of Shido's memories of his life before he became what he is today were erased by his dominating and manipulative sire. Hoping to give back to humanity and make up for all his past evils, he works now as a private detective figuring out unsolved crimes, especially those concerning the Night Breed, distant cousins of his kind, though possessing an equal hunger for violence and death.  At his side are his sassy partner, Yayoi, and his  crush-bearing secretary, Riho, both of whom try to aid him in his neverending quest whenever possible.  But it's a quest that is not without its hindrances, for his sire and former lover Cain is constantly appearing to him, hoping to persuade Shido to return with him to the darker side of his existence.
