About Rosemarie E. Bishop
Rosemarie was born and raised in a suburb of Buffalo, NY called Lackawanna which was named after an Indian chief many years ago.  Most of the main roads were the original dirt trails that lead through the heart of town back in those days.
On April 25, 1961, while Rosemarie was being brought into the world, her father, Steve Mandy, was on the pitcher's mound for the Detroit Tigers A League baseball team.  It was announced in the stadium that her mother, Elaine, had just delivered.  And so, the world was given . . . . Rosemarie, who was named after her mother's sister who had passed away only five years prior to Rosemarie's birth.
Throughout Rosemarie's life her parents gave her the chance to try whatever appealed to her and her brother, David, born one year later.  She was given music lessons and fell in love with the piano at a very early age.  That lead her to the flute in grade school, and later, to the guitar.  Eventually, Rosemarie learned to sing and began her own band in 1983 playing '50s music, then hard rock.  The band lasted six years before Rosemarie decided the time was passed and she was ready to move on to something new.
She was also given dance lessons for a short time, a few weeks of karate, and was given the chance to attend Barbizon Modelling School which she loved and feels she learned enough there to take her through the rest of her life.  It taught her the ins and outs of so many social situations that she has always felt fully prepared for whatever came her way.
Through her life, Rosemarie's parents also taught her to fish, water-ski, and drive the family's boat on the French River in Ontario, Canada where they now have a cottage since 1983.
In 1992, Rosemarie married Christopher Bishop, eloping after a five year relationship with only his best friend and his sister in attendance.  The marriage was kept quiet for six full months before either side of the family knew what had happened.  By that time, Rosemarie's job of ten years had chosen to transfer her to Massachusetts which left just enough time for them to tell their families they were married, pack their belongings, and leave in the middle of one of the worst snowstorms in history.  The date was January 31, 1993.
By that summer, Rosemarie's husband had begun to joke about how many letters Rosemarie wrote at one time just to keep in touch with their friends and family, making a comment at one point that she should just write a book, then everyone could read it.  They joked about it, but within a month Rosemarie had begun to hand write "Search For A Soul" and the Moral Vampire Series was born.  Within the next five years Rosemarie had written the first two books in the series and a third one entitled "Noah's Garden" which is a stand alone novel.  The rest from there is now history.
