I discovered Queer As Folk in June of 2000 and began watching it with episode five. I loved it from the first few minutes when Stuart wakes up and chases both (!) his shags from the night before out of his flat. I knew then that I was watching television that was innovative and daring.

Apart from the titillation factor, QAF is good television. Fantastic script by Russell T. Davies, great direction, incredible acting. It has it all.

Congratulations and a gazillion thank yous to Aidan Gillen (Stuart), Craig Kelly (Vince) and Charlie Hunnam (Nathan) for their fabulous performances. This series could not have been pulled off without their considerable talents. They are three actors who took controversial roles and turned the entertainment world on its collective head. Television will never be the same.

UPDATES!

October 18, 2000 -- added three fics: A Little Harmless Fantasizing, Garden Variety and the rather silly Safe Sex.

October 19, 2000 -- fixed the links back to the fanfiction page at the ends of the stories. Also, added Vince's First Time to the fanfic page.

Here are some stories that I have written about the characters and situations of Queer As Folk. Hope you enjoy them.
