Dear Prayer Warriors,

Acts 8:8 And there was great joy in that city.

Today I have an abundance of praise and a plea. We have been having a wonderful time of harvest since our revival. The teen group has grown so much that I hardly know what do to about the space. We need several things before winter comes, so if you could please be in prayer with us about these things...

*We need a new building, or a church site lease so we can enclose our arbor...there is hardly any room to sit in our church any more. (nice problem though)

*We need a bus!!! Or a couple more reliable church vans. Not only do we need them...but we need them NOW. Something reliable...that we can pick up kids in Shiprock and drive them the 40 miles to Red Valley.

*We also need the transmission in our red van fixed.
Here is where we are having the problem. We have so many kids to pick up, that our van can not hold them all. We had 25 in our 15 passenger van for the last two weeks. Its gotten where the teens have invited so many friends to church that we have to stop back home and get the car and put 7 in there just so we can get to church. The gas prices are eating us up...the route is so big that we start at 8:00am and don't get done till after 10:00am. We have two routes, and only one van. Technically we need two vans in Shiprock and one in Red Valley. We only have one...so we pack them in at Shiprock, drop them off in Red Valley and go get the kids in that town. I'm not complaining, just asking for a used reliable church van or at least a prayer. I don't want to lose any of these kids just because there is no room to pick them up.

We had 4 saved yesterday. Eric (14) after the morning services. One man in the jail that afternoon, and two teen girls in the evening services. We also had 8 baptized Sunday, including Francine and Talliahs Dad, Donald. We are supposed to have 2 more baptized tonight. We usually wait till there are several that have been saved because we have to haul water to fill up the horse trough.

We do not have as many faithful adults as we do Teenagers, but I am beginning to feel like God is going to deal here the same way He did when the older children of Israel refused to obey Him. He took the promise away from them and gave it to their children.

Numbers 14:31 But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.

But its ok, we love them all...and if we build this church on teenagers, well, they will be adults very soon. They love the Lord, and have very tender hearts. We had 24 teenagers on Sunday Night. I think all of Shiprock High Schools ROTC soldiers belong to our church. haha Its really been wonderful though. What a spectacular feeling, seeing the joy in the faces of these new converts, and their zeal to bring others to Christ. (photos below)

Psalms 144:15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.
Isaiah 55:12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Psalms 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Please help us pray about the vehicle problem, and also for God to send, or raise up faithful workers for this ministry.

We could never do it without you!

In His Service,

Bro. Bobby and the Harjo Tribe
