If you are a fan of fishing. YOU'RE GONNA LOVE THIS GAME !!!
It's your day off. You put aside the everyday cares and woes and go to lake Ernie. There you stop at Bill's baitshop and stock up. Then you pick your spot, bait your hook, and cast in your hopes of a good catch. Keeping a careful eye on your bobber, you wait. It moves just a little. A teasing nibble, but you know it's just a matter of a few seconds before the water breathing beast can stand it no more and decides this must be lunch. Your bobber takes a nosedive towards your victim and you react....
Play the male fisherman or the busty female fisherlady in her bikini. Sell your catch at the local Fish Market or Restaurant and use the money to rent a boat, buy a Fishfinder, and of course more bait. Now you're ready for the really big ones that feel safe out in the deeper waters. Compete for high score based on total weight of fish caught in one day. Three save options allow you and two others to save their game without over riding the other two.
In the tradition of MagicHat Shareware this game also offers great graphics and quality sounds. Don't pass this one by. You'll only wonder when you hear your friends talking about the 12 pound catfish they caught.

Fishing Game, a.k.a. ScaryFish 1.1!
This 1991 relic is the first complete version of the fishing game. It has two "worlds", the ancestors of Medium-Sized River and Ozark/Mid-South Reservoir. There are 18 species and 4 of each bait/tackle item. The "screensaver" was created in 1987 and cycles through 256 fast-moving fish. If you make a new character and all the holes seem fished out, try creating another character or use the "TORSTI" character on the disk image. The game maintains records for big fish and other angling feats.
Select here to download fishing.dsk.gz Fishing disk image compressed with Gnuzip. To run it, load fishing.dsk and type "RUN HELLO". This disk image doesn't boot, but runs fine when loading a "master" disk and running HELLO from the command line.
