This page is dedicated to Tim "DOC" Holiday. The following is a message from Gunny regarding Tim. Please send him your thoughts & prayers in the guestbook below. If anyone has any images they would like to post to this page you may send them to LadyLuck.

Hello everyone:
I really hate it that it is becoming increasingly necessary to be the
bearer of sad news, but I have just learned that another Brother is in a
bad way with Cancer.
Tim Holiday of the Vietnam Veteran singing and song-writing duo of
Martin and Holiday is presently having a very difficult time. He and
Michael J. Martin have been in the vanguard of this movement for so long
that just the mention of their names is often enough to stir vivid
memories of watchfires and marches, POW flags and Brotherhood.
Their moving songs about the war and its effects on all who lived
through those times are well known to most of us. They've traveled
across the country spreading the word and no one will ever question
their honor, their loyalty and their commitment to the Vietnam Vet
Brotherhood. That one of those voices could be silenced by cancer is a
tragedy.
As many of you know, one of the people who helped fire my commitment to
this issue in the early days was my close friend Rick Bennett, a Special
Forces Sergeant who served with my first adopted POW, Captain Butch Carr
- USASF. Rick was as close to me as a Brother could be. For my 38th
birthday, Rick gave me a tape by Martin and Holiday that I still play
daily. Since Rick was killed 3 years ago, the songs on that tape have
served as happy reminders of the good times we spent together.
The goals of our little OpJustCause family (not so little anymore) were
being vigorously pursued by Tim and Michael J long before the Senate
POW/MIA Committee opened its doors.
They crossed the country on foot, telling the stories, singing the songs
and leading the way for the rest of us to follow.
Our Brother Dennis has set up a page for Tim at
http://www.oocities.org/Pentagon/6701 and I would like to ask you all
to stop by and read the message.
If you can find it in your heart to drop Tim a line, I am sure he would
appreciate it. He has already given more to the Cause by his example
than any man could ever be expected to give.

Thank you for your time and all you have done and are continuing to do.
Gunny
