ISLE OF THE CROWN, LOGIC CLIFFS, GUARD GNOMES
On the beach, GET the ROYAL RING. It's the small red glint to the left of Alexander.
MOVE the PLANK on the right side of the screen. Now OPEN the BOX underneath it.
GET the DAVENTRY COIN from inside it, then walk north, away from the beach.
Take the path on the right to the castle. TALK to the GUARDS. They want proof Alexander
is a prince, so give them proof! USE ROYAL RING on GUARDS. This will get
you an audience with the Wizier, Abdul Alhazred. Sit back and enjoy the dialogue
that follows. After you exit the castle (it's automatic), go south to the fork in the road.
Now take the path left that leads to the town. TALK to the LAMP SELLER. Since you don't have
any old lamps, you have no business with him. Go into the bookstore (OPEN the DOOR)
and GET the BORING BOOK from the table next to the door. LOOK at the CLOAKED MAN. Notice the gleam is his eyes!
Click the HAND icon on any of the BOOKS from the shelves on the far right side of the store. GET the LOVE POEM that falls
to the floor. LOOK at the MAGIC BOOK on the counter. Next click the HAND icon
on the MAGIC BOOK. TALK to the BOOKSTORE OWNER twice. Exit the bookstore and walk north.
LOOK at BEAUTY, the servant girl in the yard. Now walk west to the docks.
Ignore the boy in the water. Do not go into the water, or you will die.
Do you see the gleam in the "boy"'s eyes? Making a connection? Anyway, KNOCK on the SHIP's DOOR.
TALK to the FERRYMAN. This will get you inside the ship. GET the RABBIT'S FOOT
from the table. TALK to the FERRYMAN eight times and listen to what he says.
Now exit the ship and go back to the town. ENTER the BOOKSTORE. There will be a clown
sitting in the chair now. TALK to JOLLO, the clown. USE ROYAL RING on JOLLO.
Listen to him, then go outside. Now ENTER the PAWN SHOPPE. TALK to the PAWN
SHOPPE OWNER. TRADE ROYAL RING to PAWN SHOPPE OWNER for the MAGIC MAP. To use the
magic map, use it on Alexander on a beach. TRADE DYSENTRY COIN to PAWN SHOPPE OWNER
for the TINDERBOX. GET a MINT from the candy dish on the counter.
Go to the beach. USE MAGIC MAP to go to the Isle of Wonder. TALK to the AWAKE CLAM.
USE BORING BOOK on AWAKE CLAM. When the clam yawns, GET the PEARL inside it's mouth.
USE MAGIC MAP to go to the Isle of the Sacred Mountain. GET the STINKY FLOWER and the BLACK FEATHER from the beach.
LOOK at LOGIC PUZZLE #1. PUSH the letters R,I,S, and E to make the steps appear. Carefully click
the walk icon on each step, in order. At the top step, LOOK at LOGIC PUZZLE #2.
Using the Ancient Ones' Alphabet in your guidebook, PUSH the symbols for the letters
S,O,A, and R to make more steps appear. Carefully climb these steps. At the top step,
LOOK at LOGIC PUZZLE #3. PUSH the fourth, first, and second circles, in that order to make
more steps appear. Carefully climb them. At the top step, LOOK at LOGIC PUZZLE #4.
Using the Ancient Ones' Alphabet in your Guidebook, PUSH the symbols for Tranquility, Azure, Air, and the Caterpillar
to make more steps appear. Carefully climb them. At the top step, LOOK at LOGIC PUZZLE #5.
PUSH the letters A,S,C,E,N, and D to make more steps appear. Carefully climb them. Finally, you're at the top!
Ignore the old woman. If you eat the berries, you will die. (And what a loss it would be! Notice the gleam in "her" eyes!)
ENTER the SMALL CAVE behind the Nightshade Bush instead. Once inside, use the TINDERBOX on ALEXANDER.
ENTER the OPENING at the right side of the cave. GET some MINT LEAVES from the bush at the right side of the "window" at the other
side of the cave. Now go into the previous room and USE the TINDERBOX once more. Exit the cave.
