My Mother and Father

Me and Bear my sweet dog

BEAR

My wife loved him dearly, and bear returned that love many times. My son and I would laugh when my wife would bring him his treats she would make him sit down if he wanted that treat and after a while weeks and months later bear would see her coming and he would sit down automaticly to get that thing he loved so dearly. She would throw the treat in the air and he would snatch it in mid air eat it and sit back down to get another it was so funny. My wife is handicapped polio sinse she was 21 months old and when she would go riding in her wheelchair she would tie bear with his leash to the arm of the wheelchair and they would go walking in the neighborhood. Sometimes i would wonder who was leading who i suspect it was bear. The love for bear was so great and they were so close. We had him for 3 years but we never could give bear the thing that he wished for most his freedom, he wanted so dearly to run with the other dogs in the neighborhood. He was tied to a leash because of kids in the neighborhood. At first i didn't love bear but as time went by i loved him just like my wife and son did. Well i hope that he is free now and has the thing he loved and missed the most his freedom. Bye bear. (It is true dog is mans best friend he was ours) December 2000 - December 15, 2008

A POEM TO MY WIFE

You're my best friend in the good times and my rock in the bad times. You're the reason for sweet yesterdays and my promise for tomorrow. You have gave me memories that i would have never had in this old life. I never thought I could be loved until you became my wife. You made my life the best of what life could be. I will only love you till i die then if there is a life after...... you will be what i am after.... Thank god for pretty little indians.
