On September 14, 2004, Hurrican Ivan entered the Gulf of Mexico. We evacuated at 7:00 pm. We went to Clint's house in Larose. The company and the food was very good. I even think MOM enjoyed begin out of her house.. ...

Hello everyone. We just had what I would call a good hurricane, it missed us. It's not perfect because it did hit someone and it caused a lot of damage. No one was killed so that was good. We left on Tuesday September 14, 2004 and returned home on Thursday, September 16, 2004. We were very comfortable at Clint and Shelly's home but it was good to get home. I enjoyed it because it gave me a chance to visit with them all. Meg and I did so many things together. We played dominoes, made shampoo, and made spiders. I sat outside for a while and watched her riding her motorcycle(motorbike?). She is very good on it and she is very careful. She wore her helmet and no one told her to do so. That is so good. She is aware of what could happen on this bike. It's not a toy. She was going pretty fast for the back yard. Well, here a few pictures I took at Clint and Shelly's house as we waited for Hurricane Ivan to make its appearance.

This is a mean evil cloud that you find in hurricanes.
We never saw this cloud!

Mom needs a haircut desperately.
Tomorrow!!

Meg driving her chair.
She was singing.

Clint getting ready to go outside.

Clint and Shelly getting ready to go outside.
They look like they want to escape.

They are making their getaway!
Will they come back?

Meg wearing the Brock-a-brella.

Tinker Belle is the terror of the neighborhood.

Does this look like a dog
that neighbors would call the law on?
Well they did!

This is a picture of the hurricane.

You must always have a tree
in your picture because
you can't see wind.

I am trying to make it exciting.

Meg is getting her motorbike.
No rain yet.

Here comes Meg.
